Dr. Kim Hansford graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.  She then completed her residency training in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Cincinnati.  She returned to Louisville and for several years, worked both in private practice and at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.  For four years Dr. Hansford had a full time appointment at UofL where she worked to help establish a pediatric dental residency program.  After starting a family with her pediatrician husband, she re-entered private practice at Kid’s Dentistry. Dr. Hansford is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Larry Phillips Received his D.M.D. from the University of Louisville in 1975. In 1978 he completed his Post Doctorate Hospital Pediatric Dentistry Program, internship and residency from the Universtiy of Kentucky.

Some of his accomplishments include:

  • Former Clincal Associate Instructor at U of L
  • Past President of Kentucky Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
  • Volunteer for Smile Kentucky
  • Fellow of the former American Society of Dentistry for Children (Now joined with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry)
  • Practiced 30+ years in conjunction with treating special needs patients at Hazelwood Hospital for Impared Children
  • Avid supporter of U of L, UK, Salvation Army, and American Red Cross
  • Mission of Mercy
